Bursting with flavours of plum, blackberry, blueberry, cherry and vanilla.

Medium-full bodied with a soft, plush mouthfeel and gentle, yet long-lasting, finish.

Two different clones of Shiraz grown on our property went into this wine.

Picked early, around 1 month before the rest of our Shiraz, this wine was gently treated to limit the extraction of tannin from the skins and seeds. Fermented in open fermenters and pressed when almost dry, directly to 3 and 4yr old French oak barriques.

The wine underwent full malolactic fermentation in barrel, before blending in tank approximately 3 months later.

This wine is only 12.5% alc and is unfined and unfiltered and also has minimal sulphites added.
