Dan Berrigan - Winemaker & Vigneron

Dan is a cool climate wine specialist and has a laser-like focus on producing wines that are both varietal and regional. From managing the vineyard year-round, to plunging the ferments, stirring the barrels, blending the wines...Dan does it all. 

Dan believes in minimal intervention winemaking and that balance is more important in wine than power.

Dan Berrigan has over 19 years winemaking experience both in the Australian and North American wine industry. He graduated with a Bachelor of Agricultural Science majoring in Oenology (Winemaking) & Viticulture from the world renowned Adelaide University Waite Campus (formerly Roseworthy) in 2003, and went on to quickly gain experience both in Australia and abroad, focusing on cool climate regions such as Tasmania, Oregon and the Russian River region of Northern California.

Wendi has been a part of Berrigan Wines since it's inception, helping Dan with vintages, social media and has had a hand in several aspects of the company, throughout the years.

At the end of 2021, she left her full-time job of 14 years working as an acting agent, to go "all-in" and become fully entrenched in the company. Wendi is now taking over sales in the Adelaide Hills, handling all customer service and marketing, along with working in the vineyards with Dan. 

Wendi has undertaken WSET Levels 2 & 3 and is continuing to learn and discover the wonderful world of wine.

Maxxi & Milo - Wine Dogs

Maxxi and Milo are the masters of snooze! When they're not sleeping, they're zooming through the vineyard and hurdling over the drip lines. Maxxi loves a long game of frisbee and Milo loves a good play of tug of war!
