Berrigan Wines is a family owned winery led by Dan Berrigan and Wendi Ticao. Our approach is grounded in quality, authenticity and respect for the land.
We want every bottle to show the character of its variety and the place it comes from. That means growing with care, making considered choices in the winery and allowing the fruit to speak for itself.

A closer connection to the vines makes for a more honest expression in the glass.
From the careful management of Shining Rock Vineyard to the final blend and bottling of each vintage, Dan and Wendi are personally involved. We continually refine how we work, with a focus on healthy fruit, freshness, texture and balance.
Our Adelaide Hills wines speak of Shining Rock. We also make wines from Mount Benson, allowing each region to show its own character.

The rider in our logo stands for the courage to back yourself and have a crack at something meaningful.
Dan took that leap when he left the security of his career as a chief winemaker to pursue his own vineyard and winery. Wendi climbed onto the same bull. Together they purchased Shining Rock in 2020, despite the uncertainty surrounding the wine industry and the wider world.
It is a reminder of determination, resilience and the belief that some opportunities are worth taking, even when you might be thrown to the ground.
